Granero Makes It Ten!!

This evening it has been confirmed that Mark Hughes has made his tenth summer signing with Esteban Granero joining the Rangers' revolution.

The 25 year old joins on a four year deal from Real Madrid.

Granero has struggled to hold a regular first team slot in Madrid but did impress during a spell at Getafe which was firstly a season loan loan before becoming a permanent transfer. After a further year with Getafe and enjoying an impressive period during the 2008/09 season, he played in 35 games and scored 5 goals.
This prompted Real Madrid to enforce a re-buy clause which cost them around £3 million.

Since moving back to the Bernabeu, Granero has played in 67 games between 2009 and 2012, scoring 4 goals.

Granero is well know as an attacking midfielder and has a reputation of being a great passer of the ball and having an extremely fierce shot in his armoury.

Granero is nicknamed El Pirata, the pirate!

He will wear the number 14 shirt.

Stay tuned as we head into deadline day and we expect this to be action packed with potentially another four players rumoured to be on the way........

U R'SSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
