Taarabt Returns...

QPR have reached an agreement with Spurs for the season long loan signing of Adel Taarabt.

Taarabt was a huge hit with the Loftus Road faithful during his loan spell last season, making 7 appearances and scoring once. The deal is expected to be completed before the weekend.

WELCOME BACK to QPR, ADEL!!!

Now if that signing doesnt get the juices flowing before the new season then nothing will. Hopefully we'll now sign the promising looking Pellicori and a decent left back, Dan Fox springs to mind, then we can get very excited about the new season ahead =)

Interesting to see some midfielders of talent joining us - will be heaps of competition for midfield places!! What about proven strikers who have a good games played to scoring ratio? Some of the names we have been linked with on the grapevine are just not suitable. Has anyone looked at Simon Cox from Swindon? He has proved for 2 seasons that he can put away the goals in League 1. Surely somebody of his calibre is 'worth a punt'?

Unless we have a good goal scorer or two up front, we shall not set the championship alight this season (just play-offs if we're lucky).

    Cheers, SCR
