Great tribute Lofty. Days like today put things in perspective. Today QPR lost a very talented player and a huge prospect for the future, but parents have lost a son and my heart goes out to all those that knew Ray and especially his family in this difficult time.

R.I.P. Ray you will be missed.

    Really saddened by today's news.

My thoughts go out to Ray's family & friends.

QPR have lost a highly promising player & the sad thing is we'll never find out just how good he could have become.

Oh no... I just got back from a week away and this is the first QPR news that I turned to. I can't even imagine what Ray's family must be going through right now and my heart goes out to all of them.

Rest easy Ray, you will be remembered and missed by a lot of people.

I support Ipswich but follow QPR as my "other team" and often read Lofty's blog. I was lucky enough to see Ray play - on his own up front - at Portman Road in March. Big ask for a teenager to play that role but he did really well and looked a very difficult striker to defend against. I came away from the game convinced I had seen a young player with a big future.

Heartfelt condolences to Ray's family and to the families of the two other young men who lost their lives in the accident.

Lofty, the words you have added beneath Ray's picture say everything.
