The 30 year old has signed and 18 month deal and is likely to make his debut for the R's at home to Burnley on Saturday.

Welcome and Good Luck Danny!!

Also, Nicky Ward has joined Brighton on loan until the end of the season.

Nick has been disappointing and dare I say, 'over hyped' in his short time at Loftis Road and joins Matthew Rose, Egutu Oliseh, Kevin Gallen, Jon Munday, Scott Donnelly, Tommy Doherty, Sean Thomas, Matthew Hislop, Ian Evatt and Ugo Ukah through what has become a revolving door at Loftus Road.

Best wishes to Nick. He did come in with a lot of hype and there were rumors about him going up to the Premiership his first few weeks. I was hoping that Ward would form a good partnership with Jimmy Smith and give the Rs a lot of youth and fire, it just didn't happen.

no bobo, sadly it didn't. But there again, the Club hyped the transfer up so much that we were convinced he was going to be fantastic before he had even kicked a ball.

You never know, he may shine at Brighton and it will be like having a new signing next year!

He will know all about League One then too!

Shit, did I just say that!?!?!

Just about sick note ;-) got done by about 9pm, then got talking to someone so grub was delayed!

If anyone is wondering who sick note is, that is Mr Corporate himself who sadly, has been suffering somewhat this year.

Seeing as he is yet to attend a Corporate function this year, his nickname should change..

Now he has gone, how about Matthew Rose?! ;-)

Very strange that during the transfer window, we have not managed to bring in someone who has a track record of being able to place that round object into the back of a net. We seem short of people who can do that with any degree of regularity at the moment!!

Keep up your good work, Lofty.

    Thanks Richard and welcome!

I do agree with you. As much as I rate Dexter and Jones, they are both very young and maybe an experienced striker, even for 6 months, would have been a benefit in our current plight.
