Goodbye and Good Luck Waddo!

Queens Park Rangers today announced that they have parted company with Gary Waddock.

Waddock was replaced by John Gregory in September after a poor start to the season and was kept on as Assistant Manager. But it has become more and more evident that JG wants to bring in his own people (and rightly so). So although this news is perhaps not entirely unexpected, Waddo has left the Club.

Let's not forget, that although his time at Manager wasn't the best, that he was Rangers through and through and I will always remember Gary for his performances in the Rangers midfield when I was growing up!

I would like to wish Gary all the very best for the future. A true Rangers Hero and we will never forget you!

A shame that Gary has left the club that he was so much a part of. I would like to wish him all the best in whatever he decides to do from now on. As you said lofty it is not exactly unexpected as JG was always going to bring in his own people as most new managers do.

    Good luck Gary

    Nice one DJ!

As mentioned, I grew up watching Gary Waddock and am gutted that one of my boyhood heroes has left.

But I have no doubt he will be back! You won't be able to keep a good man down for too long!

Gary was and still is a legend to many of us that grew up with him as one of our hero's. He deserves more than a he's gone ta...from the club.
Although the present regieme know little of all he has done for this club and respect no-one, a man with any ounce of nouse would have learnt just what he means to us the fans and would have made a bit of effort to say thank you in a decent and fitting manor, instead of once again leaving us loyal fans feeling embaressed again about the treatment of one of our own.
Good luck Gary and we the fans wish you every success.

Another sad day for QPR. Old boys like Holloway, Penrice, Macca and Waddock are getting booted a bit too often for my liking.

I hope another old boy Gregory can take us onward and upwards.

Like everyone else I wish GW well; he was thrown into a tough situation and paid the price for a lot of things that were beyond his control. He has always had a pride in the hoops and he tried to instill that ethic in the next generation.

There will be life beyond LR for Gary and I hope he finds great success in the next chapter of his career.
